A landscaped site situated on the banks of the Seine in Le Pecq, the Coulée Verte is a garden walk concept created by the water company, La Lyonnaise des Eaux.  A relaxing area to walk, whilst being an educational experience, it is well worth a visit!

Officially opened in June 2007, the Coulée Verte is a landscaped site situated on the banks of the River Seine, at the very centre of the region’s ground water catchment areas.

As you follow a route displaying information on protection of the environment, visitors can use the observation areas and information boards to learn about the water cycle, local flora and migrating birds which visit the Seine.  Ornithologists and water cycle experts are also available to lead group visits and talk about their specialist fields.
